Torus is built by volunteers.
We run on people, not paychecks. Every bucket delivered, every event we run, and every neighbor we reach happens because a student decided to show up. Torus is entirely student-led and volunteer-powered, a group of young people who believe our community deserves a cleaner future and are willing to do the quiet, unglamorous work to build it.
There is something powerful about doing this together. The long days are worth it when you watch food scraps become clean energy instead of trash, and when a neighbor stops to say thank you for making it easy to care.
